So I got a puppy

On December 17, 2008 I visited the Kern County Animal Shelter and a little puppy caught my eye. He was one of 5 in his litter and the rest had been adopted and he was the only one left. I took him home that night and we have been a family ever since. Take a look at the pictures. How could you not love him.

A toy my secret santa got him.
Lounging around
Man that face!
Can you believe he adopted me!!!

My new house before the painting party

So after having the keys for a couple of days I thought I would post some before pictures of my new house. The house is in good condition just needed a couple of layers of new paint. So this past weekend was spent with some great workers painting every room in the house!

First off this is the kitchen. It is actually a lot bigger just couldn't get a good angle.

This is the "great room" from the entry way. This color was way too dark for me!

This color will make you sick if you stare at it too long. Even brighter during the day! This is going to be my office. A different color of course.
This is the master suite. The only tolerable color except they left a big white spot on the wall (to the left you can kind of see it)
Another bright bedroom. This is going to be the guest room!
The final bedroom. This green is actually kind of cool just not for me. This is going to be my music/fun room. Wait until you see what we are doing with it!
Well that is the house in a quick blog. More information to follow soon (after pictures of the painting party and especially once I get all moved in!)

Love to all!
Tam
